POSTPARTUM DOULA

For the past 23 years, I’ve been serving children and families as they journey through birth and the early years that follow, through a variety of roles: birth doula, postpartum doula, nanny, early intervention home visitor and counselor for attachment and maternal mental health, and therapeutic staff for toddlers who have experienced trauma.

I have a Master’s Degree in the field of Infant Mental Health Counseling Psychology, and am a registered parent facilitator with Circle of Security International, an internationally acclaimed, neuroscience and evidence-based program that helps parents to see and embody the rhythms of the kind of healthy attachment relationships that help their children to truly thrive in every way. It is my passion and delight to empower moms, dads, and early relationships, and to see each baby blossom into the unique-in-all-the world little person they were born to be!

Most importantly, I’m also the mother of 4 children, including one individual with very complex special needs. As such, I’m well- attuned to the kinds of nitty gritty details that keep homes and families running as smoothly as possible through the many transitions, joys, and challenges of life. Sometimes it’s a supportive presence, a compassionate listening ear, counsel, or education that we really need… while other times simply a nap and a clean kitchen make a world of difference! I look forward to supporting you and your family as you welcome your newest member(s).
