POSTPARTUM DOULA

Before becoming a certified postpartum doula, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh and worked as an educator of 1-2-year-olds at the JCC in Squirrel Hill. With six years of experience supporting families, two of which as a certified postpartum doula, I provide compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each family’s needs. My background allows me to blend knowledge with warm, intuitive support—whether it’s newborn care education, emotional reassurance, or hands-on help during the early postpartum period.

Nurturing has always been second nature to me. As the oldest of three siblings, the neighborhood babysitter, and a senior counselor at a sleepaway camp for many summers, I have spent my life caring for others. This passion naturally led me to postpartum doula work, where I’m honored to help families adjust to life with a newborn. I believe in creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space so parents can navigate the joys and challenges of early parenthood with confidence and ease.

Outside of my work as a doula, I enjoy antiquing, designing, art, baking, gardening, and am continuously learning new ways to incorporate sustainability into my life. I would describe myself as intuitive and empathetic, always approaching situations with patience, compassion, and flexibility—because things happen!
