Hey! I’m Pauline, a certified birth and postpartum doula trained through the Masters of Maternity Program. I currently have the privilege of supporting families as a doula with The Birth Circle at UPMC Magee Women’s Hospital and also work alongside a midwife as a midwife assistant. I’ve been supporting families for the past three years, and my long-term goal is to become a certified midwife.
Birth work became my calling after the birth of my own daughter. That experience opened my heart to the incredible strength, resilience, and intuition that women carry into birth. My passion is helping mothers trust their bodies, their instincts and their babies throughout the entire journey.
I believe every family deserves compassionate, evidence-informed support that leaves them feeling empowered, prepared, and deeply cared for. Whether you’re planning a home birth, hospital birth, medicated or unmedicated birth, my role is to walk beside you, advocate for your preferences and help create a birth experience you can look back on and feel PROUD.
“In giving birth to our babies, we may find that we give birth to new possibilities within ourselves.”
When I’m not attending births, I’m soaking up time with my beautiful daughter, who keeps me laughing and on my toes every day. I’m a true nature girl at heart, you’ll usually find me tending to my garden, walking by the water, or enjoying the peace that the outdoors brings. I also love arts and crafts, reading, and finding small moments of creativity and stillness between the beautiful chaos of life.
