Since 2018, I have been providing supportive, trauma-informed care to families in the Pittsburgh area. After beginning my career as a therapeutic childcare provider, I shifted to offer birth doula support, and from there, I expanded my expertise to include postpartum, bereavement, and fertility. Over the years, I have completed training courses through DONA, BADT, and Pittsburgh Bereavement Doulas, encompassing skills as a full-spectrum doula and childbirth educator. I am CPR certified and up to date on all clearances.

Currently, alongside my doula support, I work as a project coordinator in maternal-child health research, supporting various initiatives throughout the Southwestern PA region that seek to improve health outcomes for moms. Additionally, I serve multiple roles on the Allegheny County Fetal-Infant Mortality Review Board as a community liaison and subject matter expert. My professional goals include earning my Certified Professional Doula (CPD) and International Partnership for Perinatal Excellence (IPPE) certifications to continue providing up-to-date, evidence-based care, and certifying through Cornerstone Doula Trainings as a birth and postpartum doula.

Most of my free time is spent parenting a very spicy 2-year old who is bursting with personality! Giving birth in 2024 challenged my beliefs about birth; I came out of that experience with a better understanding of the transformative process I had been guiding families through for 3 years by then. Now, I believe that mother and baby both leave the birth space as new people who must be treated with tender, loving care as they adjust to a new period of life.

My daughter and l enjoy practicing yoga together, especially outside on a sunny day. Together we garden and eventually, she’ll join me in arranging bouquets from our summer blooms. I enjoy documenting life’s forgettable but special moments using photography or writing, so I can always be found with either my camera or a journal nearby (or both!).
