Hi, I’m Miyah! I am a certified doula through SMC Full Circle Doula and have been supporting families for four years. I’m also a Certified Community Health Worker with four years of experience helping families navigate their health and wellness journeys. My path as a doula began in 2020, inspired by a deep passion for guiding families through pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond.

As a doula, my mission is to help you feel informed, empowered, and at peace throughout your pregnancy and birth experience. I provide continuous emotional and physical support during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum, using techniques such as massage, counterpressure, and belly wrapping to ensure your comfort and relaxation. I also assist with prenatal education, helping you explore childbirth options, create a birth plan, and confidently communicate with your healthcare providers. Once your little one arrives, I’m there to support you through postpartum recovery, breastfeeding challenges, and those tender early weeks, providing reassurance and answering any questions you may have.

I believe every family deserves care that’s as unique as they are. That’s why I tailor my services to your specific needs and preferences, helping you navigate this incredible journey with confidence. Studies have shown that having a doula can shorten labor, reduce pain perception, and increase a sense of control and informed decision-making during childbirth. My goal is to enhance your emotional well-being and support a strong start to your breastfeeding journey while ensuring both parents feel cared for and connected during this life-changing experience.

Outside of my work, I’m a proud mom to three amazing children who inspire me every day. I also volunteer as a coach for little league football cheerleaders and find joy in being an avid reader. Family and community are at the core of who I am, and I feel truly honored to support others as they embark on their parenthood journey. Together, we’ll create an experience filled with strength, empowerment, and love.
