BIRTH & POSTPARTUM DOULA

Hi, I’m Lauren — a birth and postpartum doula who finds so much joy in walking alongside families during one of life’s most transformative seasons. Supporting parents as they welcome new life into the world is truly where my heart feels most at home. I’m certified through ProDoula for birth and trained through DONA International. I bring over a decade of healthcare experience to my work — including seven years of dedicated postpartum support. Whether I’m offering a listening ear, a moment of calm reassurance, or just an extra set of hands, my goal is always to help families feel seen, supported, and cared for in every stage of their journey.

Before becoming a doula, I spent many years in healthcare — from postpartum care at Magee Women’s Hospital to Advanced Patient Care with UPMC. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of both the physical and emotional sides of recovery and motherhood. My time as a nanny and my volunteer work in my church nursery also shaped the way I approach my work today — with patience, gentleness, and a heart for service.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting both first-time parents and those welcoming additional little ones, helping each family find their rhythm and confidence. I truly believe a mother’s well-being is at the heart of a healthy family, and I approach every home with empathy, flexibility, and calm.

As a wife and mom of two, I know firsthand how beautiful and how challenging those early days can be. My hope is to bring a sense of peace, confidence, and encouragement to every family I serve, helping them feel rested, uplifted, and cared for as they step into this new chapter.
