POSTPARTUM DOULA

I am a CAPPA trained postpartum doula on the team. I have supported families since 2016, providing childcare for infants. My transition to postpartum doula came after my own hardship with postpartum anxiety/depression, after having my first son. This gave me the utmost understanding of how families need quality continuous care during the postpartum time.

As a first-time parent, no matter how prepared, there are many unexpected situations that can occur when adding a newborn to your family. With my years of work experience, training, and being a mother of 2, I know how to help families manage the unexpected newness, the joys, and potential difficulties they may face during this adjustment period. Due to my own struggles with mental health after my first was born, I wish I had a doula to support me during my own transition into motherhood. Families need warm, loving, nurturing, shame-free guidance, and I know I can fill that role.

I am passionate about helping clients feel supported, nurtured, and informed through a gentle, knowledgeable transition into welcoming new life and parenthood. My experience will improve my work as a doula, along with continuous training in different areas that I look forward to gaining more in-depth knowledge.

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family, be outdoors, and meditate.
