Hello! I’m Bre, a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula through the National Black Doulas Association (NBDA). In addition to my NBDA certification, I’m certified in bereavement support through Birth Arts International and have completed advanced training with Whole Body Pregnancy, which focuses on culturally competent, inclusive, and holistic care for families during birth and postpartum. I am also CPR certified and currently completing the process to become certified with the state of Pennsylvania.
Before I even knew what a doula was, I was already “doing the work out of love”—supporting friends and family through pregnancy, labor, and those early postpartum days. It wasn’t until I became a mother myself and faced postpartum anxiety that I discovered the role of a doula—and instantly knew it was my calling to help parents prepare for change. Since then, I’ve certified and gained hands-on experience through a doula organization, working with a wide range of families and birth experiences.
I believe every person deserves to feel seen, respected, and supported in their choices. I lead with empathy and intuition, fluent in body language and sensitive to the unspoken energy in birth spaces. I’m observant, grounded, and committed to helping families feel informed, empowered, and cared for. I show up with a calm presence, a fully stocked doula bag, and the belief that every birth deserves wholehearted support.
When I’m not with clients, I’m spending time outdoors with my two sons, picking up new hobbies like photography and knitting, and staying rooted in my community as a birth worker and educator. This work has always felt like home to me—and I feel so encompassed by love each time I get to walk alongside a growing family
I look forward to being a part of your support circle.
