  • Virtual consultation (up to an hour) to get to know your doula and to make sure you’re a good match
  • Two prenatal meetings to discuss your wants and needs
  • Assistance in developing your birth plan and communicating it to your provider if needed
  • Certified and experienced birth doula to support you throughout your pregnancy and labor
  • Emergency backup doula
  • Unlimited phone, text, and email support throughout your pregnancy and 24/7 support leading up to birth
  • In-person support for your labor and birth at your desired location for as long as needed
  • Immediate postpartum support for 1-2 hours to ease you into parenthood
  • Breastfeeding/chestfeeding or formula feeding support
  • One in-home postpartum visit (up to 2 hours)

Typical range: 8:00 am- 10:00 pm

4-hour minimum

$34.00/hour

$37.00/hour twins

$40.00/hour triplets

Typical range: 10:00 pm- 8:00 am

  • $30 Placement Fee
  • Holiday rate is $40/hour
    • Not all doulas/families celebrate the same holidays. Doula will only charge the holiday rate if a holiday she celebrates falls during her contracted time and will be discussed at the Acquaintance Visit. (New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter Eve, Easter, Passover, Rosh Hashanah, Zose Hanukkah, Yom Kippur, Eid- Al-Fitr, Eid Al-Adha, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.)

Finding a doula can be difficult. We like to make it simple.

1. Complete Registration

Complete the Pittsburgh Doula Network registration form so we can learn more about your wants and needs.

2. Doula Matching

Our matchmaker will evaluate your registration and pair you with a doula that aligns with your requests.

3. Meet & Greet

Your doula will contact you to introduce themself and schedule a virtual meeting.

Ready to Get Started?

Lactation Consultation

In-home visit with an IBCLC to observe, assess, and create a breastfeeding plan based on your goals. A post-consultation write-up of everything covered will be provided. Clients can contact their lactation consultant with questions or concerns via phone, email, or text for one month.
